This area features a unique floating grassland formed by the intertwined roots of wetland plants growing on water-rich marshy soil. Both the floating grassland and Dongyuan Forest Recreation Area are part of the Dongyuan Wetland, which is registered as a National Important Wetland in Taiwan. The site boasts rich biodiversity of flora and fauna and offers friendly guided tours, making it an ideal destination for eco-tourism.

旭海溫泉 Syuhai Hot Spring

旭海溫泉位於牡丹鄉旭海村，泉質為無色無味的碳酸泉，是少見的公共澡堂式溫泉。泡湯建議不超過15分鐘，先從腳部淋浴再入池，有助血液循環與放鬆身心。附近有排灣族聚落旭海部落、旭海漁港及原始風貌的牡丹灣，景色自然迷人。

Xuhai Hot Spring is located in Xuhai Village, Mudan Township. The spring water is a colorless and odorless carbonated spring and is one of Taiwan’s rare public bathhouse-style hot springs. It is recommended to soak no longer than 15 minutes, starting with rinsing your feet to improve blood circulation and relax the body and mind. Nearby are the Paiwan indigenous Xuhai Village, Xuhai Fishing Harbor, and the pristine Mudan Bay, all featuring natural and charming scenery.

高士神社星空旅遊 Gaoshi Shrine Stargazing Tour

高士神社於2015年重建，提供獨特的觀星體驗，能欣賞銀河與月光映照海面的美景。神社保有傳統建築風格與寧靜氛圍。遊客還可品嚐當地蜂蜜，並探索高士社區豐富的自然生態。建議提前預約。

Gaoshi Shrine was rebuilt in 2015 and offers a unique stargazing experience where visitors can enjoy views of the Milky Way and moonlight reflecting on the sea. The shrine preserves traditional architectural style and a peaceful atmosphere. Visitors can also taste local honey and explore the rich natural ecology of the Gaoshi community. Advance reservations are recommended.
